It measures 36" x 3 1 4" x 3 1 4" and is marked "P Courti, Exeter" It reads from 27 to 31 inches of mercury and is calibrated in 0. 1 inch increments. There is no vernier and the column is unadjustable, I would imagine this model was intended to wealthy gentry rather than academic or scientific use.
