It produces green flowers and edible purple red or green fruit with a custard like pulp that is pleasantly sweet. Plant it in full sun, in well drained sand or limestone. Ideal temperatures range from 73 to 94F. Trees are not not tolerant of excessively wet soil or flooding and should
